Our middle school program helps students to build foundational skills, led by faculty who know how to tap and channel the intellectual energy and passion of middle school girls. Small classes encourage a high level of rapport between students and teachers.
Through our nationally recognized character and leadership program, girls develop the habits they will need for future success. They grow in self-knowledge, build and value friendships, and come to understand their responsibility to each other.
At Montrose, girls lead everything. Our girls grow, learn, and tackle new challenges with confidence — leading service initiatives, singing solos, captaining teams, building robots, writing news stories, and more.
Our signature mentoring program provides every girl with a personalized mentor who serves as a coach and guide, helping her set goals, navigate challenges, and grow in perspective.

Montrose is an independent school for girls in grades 6-12, guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Montrose high school students learn to apply their strong foundational skills and habits through our rich liberal arts curriculum based on a curated curriculum of core texts. Faculty experts help girls stretch, activating their agency across disciplines and developing their strengths from writing and research to advanced work in the STEM fields.
